A MAN has appeared in court accused of assaulting a man after he confronted him over littering.
Miklos Papp, 40, appeared before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
He is alleged to have attacked Thomas O’Donovan as he walked through Dewsbury town centre on August 19.
Hungarian Papp confirmed that he had no fixed address through an interpreter.
He denies the charge and faces trial at the Huddersfield court.
This will take place on January 18.
Papp was granted unconditional bail .
