A MAN has appeared in court accused of assault and criminal damage.
Steven Milner, of no fixed address, was before Kirklees magistrates sitting in Huddersfield yesterday.
The 42-year-old is accused of assaulting Julie Harrison and Marcus Lettice on Lord Street on January 26.
He faces a further charge of damaging windows.
Milner denies the charges but pleaded guilty to an earlier assault.
Milner will next appear before the court on February 24 for trial. He was remanded in custody until then.
