A MAN who failed to give his blood for a police investigation said he was unfit to attend court.
John Gill, of Netheroyd Hill Road, Netheroyd Hill, had been required to provide the specimen to police on September 26.
The 51-year-old had been due to appear at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday. However the court was presented with a doctor’s sick note.
The note excused Gill from attending because he had suffered from whiplash in a road traffic accident. He was bailed to appear before the court on November 4.
