A 21-year-old man has died from head injuries this morning following a car accident on Thursday night.
Police said he died in the early hours in hospital.
The accident took place on Holmfirth Road, between the junctions of The Crescent and Greenhill Bank Road, New Mill, on Thursday, September 26, at 8.17pm.

The road was closed until after 11pm.
Police said a Suzuki Swift collided with the pedestrian, a local man, who has not been named yet.
Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact the Major Collision and Enquiry Team on 101.
