A MAN has been found dead at a Huddersfield house.

Two men were arrested after police were called to the house on Bradford Road, Fartown, just before 7pm last night.

The men, aged 39 and 29, were being quizzed at Huddersfield police headquarters today.

A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to an address in Fartown and found the body of a man.

"Inquiries are going on into the circumstances surrounding the man's death.

"The scene has been secured for forensic examination and the coroner's officer has been informed," the spokeswoman said.

"A post-mortem will be carried out later today," she added.

The house is in a row of back-to-back terrace houses on the main Bradford Road.

It is reached from the main road through a passageway or a track along the back of the row.

This morning a white police tent was erected in the garden and lines of blue and white tape cordoned off the area.

Police officers were at the scene.
