A man whose body was found at a house in Dewsbury has been named.
Police have confirmed Trevor Barlow, 47, was discovered dead at a house in Dorset Walk, Westtown, shortly after 9.20am this morning.
The house was cordoned of by officers at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will now take place.
Det Insp Andy Parr, of Kirklees CID, said: “The man has yet to be formally identified but is believed to be a 47 year-old man who lived locally.
“The death is being treated as unexplained pending the results of a post-mortem examination.”
The latest death comes just weeks after a man died after being found collapsed in Dewsbury Market Hall toilets.
Police could not confirm any more information at this time.
