A HUDDERSFIELD man has been remanded in custody after being charged with attempted murder.
Mahmood Akhtar, 23, of Mill Street, Lockwood, appeared before Huddersfield magistrates yesterday.
The charge relates to an incident early last Saturday, when shots were fired and a man was injured.
The case against Akhtar, a recovery truck driver, was adjourned until Thursday.
On that day he will appear before Bradford Crown Court via video link.
