A MAN received knife wounds in an attack on New Year’s Day.
Police were called to Hopkinson Road, Brackenhall at around 5am on January 1 after reports of a dispute.
A West Yorkshire police spokesman said: "Police responded to a disturbance at a house in Hopkinson Road on New Year’s Day.
"A 25-year-old man in the house was wounded by a second man carrying a knife.
"The victim received minor head and hand injuries and was treated at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary."
Yorkshire Ambulance confirmed they were called to the premises and treated a man for minor injuries.
Police are investigating.
