A NEW map has been produced to help walkers enjoy The Meltham Way.
The nine-mile circular walk around Meltham's countryside was established last April and takes in Royds Edge, Blackmoorfoot Reservoir and Honley Wood.
Meltham and District Civic Society produced an initial leaflet detailing the route, but these ran out quickly.
With funding from the Crossroads charity shop in Meltham, Kirklees Council Environment Unit, Meltham Town Council and its own funds, the civic society has produced new leaflets, featuring a map of the route.
The civic society has also produced a walks guide from two-hour evening walks to eight- mile treks, plus a pack detailing 10 walks around Meltham, a Countryside Guide leaflet and leaflets about Meltham Historical Town Trail.
Leaflets are available from Huddersfield and Holmfirth tourist information centres, Meltham and Marsden information points, the Brownhill Centre at Uppermill and Meltham Library.
