HUDDERSFIELD restaurants are invited to cook up a Mother's Day dinner to help raise funds for African orphans.
The Lunch for Life project begins in the week leading up to Mother's Day on Sunday, March 21.
Restaurants will simply add £1 to each table's bill. A card on the table will explain how the money will be spent.
Lunch for Life will raise money for the international children's charity Plan UK.
One million children in Kenya alone have been orphaned through Aids.
The Mother's Day Lunch for Life will help Plan offer families affected by HIV/Aids the hope of a better future.
Plan works with communities to provide counselling, basic medicines, help with making a will and support in setting up small businesses.
