A print of the Queen’s portrait by Meltham-born artist Darren Baker is to go on show at a local exhibition.

The copy of the portrait painted by the former Honley High School pupil will go on display at Meltham’s St Bartholomew’s Church for four days, as part of the village's Biennial Art Exhibition and Sale.

Darren personally offered the church the chance to exhibit the piece.

The event takes place at the parish church hall from August 23 to 26.

Darren, along with 77 other professional and amateur artists, will be exhibiting his work, which will be for sale.

A total of 320 art items will feature in the display overall.
