A WOMAN asked for her court order to be varied so that she could move house.

Jackie Wood, of Mill Moor Road in Meltham, is subject to a community order and eight-week curfew.

She was given the order by Kirklees magistrates last month after admitted two charges of benefit fraud.

The 55-year-old falsely claimed more than £7,000 in benefits while she was in full time education.

She asked the Huddersfield bench yesterday if she could vary her curfew to a new address in Meltham.

Magistrates agreed, reminding her that she must allow security staff into her new home to fit the tag monitoring equipment.
