It took place at Cinnamon Lodge in Meltham on Tuesday night.

The charity helps to transform the lives of some of the most deprived women and children in the world.

On the night 60 people enjoyed a curry, bought raffle tickets, joined in with Heads and Tails Bingo to raise £658 for the project in Sierra Leone.

Soroptimist International is engaged in a four year partnership with Hope and Homes for Children, based in Africa, to provide money for families to purchase tools and seeds to grow food, buy clothing and equipment for children to attend school and use money for women to start small businesses, renovate family homes and pay for medical costs for children.
