Two men have been arrested after an accident this afternoon.
Police were called to a crash between a silver Volkswagen Golf and a Hyundai i30.
The accident happened around 4.40pm in Market Street, Milnsbridge.
Nobody was injured but two men in the Polo, the driver and the passenger, both aged 27, have been arrested.
Traffic was brought to a standstill after Market Street and Morley Street were partially closed.
Eyewitnesses contacted the Examiner to report seeing police cars at the scene following the crash.
Twitter user @Wormy_J said: “Milnsbridge and Morley Lane closed, taped off and police on scene, no idea what has happened.”
Another eyewitness said: “Traffic is horrendous and police are everywhere.”
Market Street and Morley Street were fully reopened by 5.30pm.
