FOUR men convicted of killing Pc Sharon Beshenivsky were being sentenced today.

Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah and Yusuf Abdillh Jamma, the "absolutely ruthless" key members of the gang involved in the bungled armed robbery which led to the 38-year-old mother's death, face life in jail for her murder.

Two other members of the gang, brothers Faisal and Hassan Razzaq, were also being sentenced today at Newcastle Crown Court after they were both found guilty of manslaughter following an 11-week trial.

All four men were also found guilty of robbery and a series of firearms offences.

Pc Beshenivsky was shot and killed on November 18 last year as she arrived at the scene of the robbery in Bradford city centre on the day of her youngest daughter's fourth birthday.

Deputy Chief Constable Julia Hodson, of West Yorkshire Police, said: "She was just an ordinary cop doing her duty and her life was taken away from her by ruthless criminals."
