DARTS star Dennis Priestley is heading to Huddersfield to take on a charity challenge.

Dennis (pictured) – known as The Menace – is a professional darts player and will take on 24 amateurs at Lepton Highlanders Sports and Social Club on November 14.

Each player will play one leg against Dennis.

The event is being held to raise money for this year’s Children In Need.

The tournament will be refereed by special guest Paul Hinks, who referees darts for Sky.

A dartboard signed by legends Eric Bristow, John Lowe and John Gwynne is also being auctioned on internet site eBay to raise money for the charity.

Organiser Paul Hodkin is looking for more memorabilia to sell.

Anyone with items should email hoddersthered@ntlworld.com

Paul said: “We did this last year and it was a great success, so we have brought it back bigger and better this year.”
