A 16-year-old girl has been reported missing from her home in Huddersfield.

Now police are appealing for help in tracking her down.

They have also appealed to the girl herself to come forward.

Kerry Townend was last seen at 7pm on Sunday, April 10, in Lidget Street, Lindley.

She is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall, of slim build with shoulder-length blonde hair, which she sometimes wears up.

She was last seen wearing light blue jeans and a zipped, hooded top.

Anyone who has seen Kerry or with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Kirklees Safeguarding Unit via 101.

Police have also urged Kerry to make contact with them to confirm she is safe and well.
