MONEY collected from a Huddersfield carol service will provide activities for young people.
Huddersfield Parish Church was the venue for the carol event, which was organised by the Society of Chartered Accountants.
A collection at the event raised £365.49.
The money has been donated to Huddersfield Point Plus, formerly known as the Churches Together in Huddersfield Children's Activity Project.
Clyde Buckle, project manager of HPP, received a cheque from John Ardley, president of Huddersfield Society of Chartered Accountants.
HPP, based at Huddersfield Methodist Mission at Lord Street, is a charity which works to provide educational activities for young people. Youngsters are referred to the project from a range of agencies.
Vicar of Huddersfield The Rev Catherine Ogle, a trustee of HPP, said: "I'd like to thank everyone who came to the carol service for their generous support. The money they gave will be put to good use among the young people of the town."
