A MONTHLY newsletter is to be published to keep residents informed about a £4m road junction plan.
Dozens of homes are due to be knocked down in the changes at a notorious bottleneck in the centre of Hipperholme.
Work is scheduled to start in 2008.
Calderdale Council deputy leader Clr John Foran said: "The council recognises that a significant number of people will be affected and there will be some uncertainty.
"That is why we will be making arrangements for people to be kept informed of developments on a monthly basis.
"When we reach an appropriate point in the planning process we will arrange to hold a public meeting and full consultation will be carried out."
