A MUSEUM run by volunteers is staging an exhibition about changing transport links across the moors at Standedge.

Road, rail and canal items are on display at Colne Valley Museum, Cliffe Ash, Golcar. Part of the exhibition is pictured on the right

A selection of tools used to make ancient roads is also included.

Even the children's corner will be devoted to traffic in the exhibition, which runs until Sunday, April 23.

The museum is open on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays from 2pm to 5pm. Admission is £1.50 for adults and 75p for children.
