RAIL passengers faced more delays in the Huddersfield area.

Buses again replaced trains between Halifax and Huddersfield due to a points failure at Bradley Junction.

Buses replaced trains on the line from Halifax to Brighouse and Huddersfield every hour between 0810 and 2010 hours.

The buses were in place of the services running direct from Brighouse to Mirfield as they were unable to call at Huddersfield and Deighton.

Passengers for Deighton had to change either at Huddersfield (from coach link) or Mirfield (from diverted train).

The lineside equipment problem, which has affected services all week, is being repaired by Network Rail engineers who hoped to have services restored by today.
