Motorcyclist badly hurt in Huddersfield crash

Police make appeal for witnesses

A motorcyclist suffered serious head injuries after crashing into a stone wall in Huddersfield.

The 32-year-old was riding under the railway bridge on Hillhouse Lane, just after the junction of Emerald Street, when his Yamaha MT125 hit the stone wall under the bridge.

A police spokesman said the motorcyclist suffered severe head injuries and was taken to hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at about 6.20pm on Monday.

Witnesses should call PC Craig Taylor on 101 quoting log number 1285 of Monday, February 1.
