A driver was hurt in a crash at Longroyd Bridge. A Toyota Starlet and a Vauxhall Astra collided at the junction of Springdale Avenue and Manchester Road at 11.50 last night. The Toyota driver, a 30-year-old man from Birkby, suffered minor injuries. The 36-year-old man driving the Astra was unhurt.
