DEWSBURY MP Simon Reevell will host his third annual cricket match in aid of Help for Heroes on Sunday.
The game at Shelley Cricket Club starts at 2pm.
Mr Reevell will captain the Lords and Commons XI, which includes Look North’s Harry Gration, Hollywood actor Vincent Regan, who was a star of Troy, 300 and Snow White and the Huntsman, former Olympic rower Alex Story, former Yorkshire County Cricketer Ashley Metcalfe and former rugby league internationals Alan Hunte and Ikram Butt. They will take on a Shelley Village XI.
Earlier matches have raised more than £8,000 and the MP is hoping that local residents will again come out and show their support.
He said: “The previous two matches have both been great successes and people have been overwhelmingly generous in support of a good cause. This is a really fun afternoon out and I hope to see lots of people there on Sunday.”
The day will also include an auction, a raffle and a barbecue.
