RAG rugging workshops will be held at Huddersfield's Tolson Museum - but not a rug will be in sight!

Workshop leader Maureen Green will show how the technique can be used to make different types of things.

"I want to show people that there is much more to rag rugging than just rugs and for them to be able to produce something decorative and fun in a day," she said.

Inspiration will be taken from India using velvets and tassels, in the first workshop on Sunday September 26.

"Pillow Talk" on Sunday October 17 will encourage people to make a herbal pillow decorated with braids, and on Sunday November 21, fairy lights will be used. The workshops run from 10am to 4pm and cost £25.
