Museum's twinkle for rug-makers

TWINKLING beads and glitzy fabrics will ensure stars in the eyes of participants in a rag rugging workshop at Tolson Museum.

The workshop, titled Stars In Your Eyes, will see participants make star-shaped wall hangings using traditional rag-rug prodding and hooking techniques.

Stars In Your Eyes is the second of three rag rugging workshops at the museum.

This one will take place on Sunday January 29 from 10am to 4pm.

Lunch, materials and tuition are provided for £25 per person.
