POPULAR musical The King and I has been delighting audiences in Moldgreen.

Spot On Musical Theatre is staging the hit show at the United Reform Church this week.

Steve Scott is pictured playing the King. He has directed and played character roles with a number of local societies. Elizabeth Priest is shown playing the governess, Anna, a role she took as a 12-year-old in a school production in Scissett.

Gina Cook, one of the best known talents in local amateur circles, returns as Lady Thiang and Gerald Tinson, known for his work in local Gilbert and Sullivan shows, is playing the King's Prime Minister Kralahome.

Performances are at Moldgreen United Reformed Church from March 22-25 with performances nightly at 7.15pm and a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm.
