How do you want life in this country to change? What do you want from your politicians?

Ahead of the general, local, town and parish council elections on May 7 the Huddersfield Examiner is today launching a survey to find out what our readers want.

It includes 30 national and local questions on subjects including the NHS, education, immigration and crime. Answer as many as you like.

We want to know what you think of the country, of the ideas made by the government, what you think of the issues right here in Kirklees and ideas for improvement, with a focus on transport, housing, libraries, council cuts and even what you think of Kirklees.

This will help us produce a manifesto for our area.

We'll present the findings to the politicians telling them this is what you want from them for our region.

Here are the 30 questions, in each one pick the answer which is the best reflection of your view.
