Mystery surrounds Holmfirth pensioner's injuries

POLICE have been investigating how a Holmfirth pensioner suffered serious injuries.

POLICE have been investigating how a Holmfirth pensioner suffered serious injuries.

Detectives and forensic officers have been working at a house in Elm Avenue, Thongsbridge.

But it is believed the elderly woman, who is detained at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, may have been hurt in a fall at the house.

She was found last night by a relative.
