A woman has appeared in court charged with benefit fraud worth more than £12,000.

Nancy Storey, of Vine Avenue in Cleckheaton, faces a charge of dishonestly failing to notify a change of circumstances affecting her entitlement to income support.

The alleged offence occurred between June 2012 and October 2014.

During this time the 43-year-old allegedly failing to promptly notify the Department for Work and Pensions that she was living together as husband and wife with David Anderson.

Storey denies the charge and will stand trial.
