NETBALL players took on a new challenge. Members of the Fountain Netball Club from Newsome took part in a charity pub crawl - tied together in three-legged fashion!

The team members set off from Lindley Clock Tower and made their way through Lindley and Marsh to Huddersfield town centre, collecting at a dozen pubs along the way and having a drink in each.

The money they collected is to help Paula Stansfield, of Huddersfield, take part in a 10-day trek in Cuba raising money for the Royal National Institute for the Blind.

The players also celebrated their success in winning Division Three of the Huddersfield Netball League.
