THE Colne Valley Circular Walk will be freshly way-marked by the Kirklees Countryside Unit.
The move has been approved after complaints by the Colne Valley Society.
The 13-mile circular walk was established by the society nearly 30 years ago.
Since then the way-markings have become increasingly difficult to spot by seasoned and first-time walkers alike.
Colne Valley Society vice- chairman Glenda Oldroyd said: "We're delighted that Kirklees have taken on this work. Members of the society have ensured that the way-marks remained visible in the past, but it is some years since it was last done."
