A NIGHTCLUB in Huddersfield is one of Britain's best.
Ethos and Visage, based at Folly Hall, have just finished runner-up in the Club Of The Year contest in Yorkshire.
And they also took first place in the category for the best R&B club night, beating some top clubs from across the county.
They won for their regular Tuesday club night sessions.
Manager Tom Maloney picked up the awards at a glittering night at the Atrium Bar in Leeds.
And he was delighted that Ethos and Visage had beaten clubs including Republic in Sheffield and Federation in Leeds to the runners-up slot.
The best club title went to Creation, in Leeds.
Mr Maloney said: "It is a great honour to be nominated as it was down to the listeners of dance music station Galaxy to vote for the best.
"We were delighted to be in the final and to actually finish runner-up in the main section and to win the club night section is brilliant.
"We have played host to some of the biggest names in music such as Mis-teeq and Liberty X, and we have great in-house DJs and entertainments team.
"It is a credit to Huddersfield that we have been able to compete with the large cities."
