A NURSERY raised money for charity at an unveiling of its new-look premises.
Parents and their children took part in the fun day at the Dalton-based Hunnypot Day Nursery.
Activities included a tombola, bouncy castle and even a life-sized Pooh Bear for the youngsters to play with.
The event raised money for the Strongbones children’s charity.
This national charity helps families with children suffering from brittle bone disease, bone cancer, scoliosis, arthritis and other conditions of the bone.
Staff were inspired to boost the charity’s funds after one of the children they look after was helped by it.
The event also saw the Mayor of Kirklees, Clr David Ridgway, officially open the new nursery building, which recently moved from next door into the larger premises.
It features space to hold an after school club and holiday club, adventure playground and an outdoor classroom.
