AN education and training firm is celebrating being put on a list of the best companies again.

Holmfirth-based Crag- Rats won a place for the second consecutive year on the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For list.

It is the only Kirklees organisation to win a place and one of only seven in Yorkshire.

The list is compiled from anonymous staff surveys.

They revealed that 82% of CragRats employees said the company has a strong sense of family and 83% said they love working for it.

CragRats, of Dunford Road, provides culture-changing training to organisations such as Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing, West Yorkshire Police and the NHS.

The awards were presented at an awards dinner at Battersea Park Events Arena in London.

Jill Martin, CragRats personnel manager, said: "We are delighted to not only be in the top 100 for the second year running but also to have increased our position by 30 places, from 66th to 36th. It is fantastic.

"It is a great testament to the hard-working, enthusiastic and caring staff that we have and our dedication as a company to continue to strive for improvements.

"This award belongs to all of them."
