FIREFIGHTERS went to three pan fires in Huddersfield in just 90 minutes last night.

The first was at 8.07pm at Bishop's Court flats in Berry Brow, where the male occupant had put out the fire before it spread from a frying pan to the kitchen.

At about 8.54pm crews were called to a blaze in Elizabeth Street, Primrose Hill.

A chip pan had caught fire and the woman householder had called for help. A neighbour put out the fire.

At 9.38pm fire crews dealt with a chip pan fire in Hebden Court, Quarmby.
