A PARROT has gone missing from Sheepridge.
Rocky, an African Grey, with a red tail, disappeared yesterday lunchtime from his owner’s garden on Fell Grove off Bradford Road near Asda.
He has been a much loved family pet for more than eight years.
Owner, Chandan Chhibba said he got out of his cage while she and her husband weren’t looking.
She said: “He was in the garden in his cage and he got out and just flew away.
“Usually he’s OK, we would take him outside on our arm and he’d be fine.
“But he was on his own and the cage was open and he just flew away.”
Chandan asked if people in the area could keep an eye out for him and call the RSPCA or her if they spot him.
There may be a small reward for anyone who finds him.
