PEAK Park officials are being urged to crack down on off-road bikers and drivers.

The Campaign for National Parks is urging the body that runs the Peak District National Park to get tough.

They claim off-roading can damage the fabric of national parks and deters walkers, cyclists and horse riders from enjoying the fantastic landscapes in areas such as Meltham and Holmfirth.

The body has backed the Friends of the Peak District and has pledged its full support for the Friends’ ‘Take Back the Tracks’ campaign.
