A pensioner has been attacked by a burglar.
The 70-year-old woman was assaulted by the man at her house in Crowtrees Lane, Rastrick yesterday evening at around 5.15pm.
Police are particularly keen to trace anyone who saw a white man, six feet tall, early 30s, with short black hair wearing a black canvas jacket, hanging around the Crowtrees Lane area on Wednesday afternoon.

They would also like to speak to anyone in that area who had an uninvited caller come to the door.
