SPORTING stars visited Cowlersley Primary School to talk about their skills.

A Bradford Bulls rugby league player and a cricketer from the West Indies team spoke with Year 3 pupils about their sport.

The event was organised by sports coach Patrick Blakeley, who has been running weekly multi-skills sessions in the school.

The workshops have been developed with Big Lottery funding by the Pennine School Sport Partnership.

The aim of meeting the stars was to motivate and encourage the youngsters to choose a sport to pursue in the long term.
