THIS little bridge on desolate Marsden Moor appears to be heading nowhere.

But it does take walkers safely across a culvert which has water running off the moor into the reservoirs down the Wessenden Valley.

It was taken by Rebecca Moore, of Holmbridge, who loves walking and always takes her camera with her.

“We live in such a beautiful part of the world I always have my little Fuji digital with me,’’ she said.

The bridge is made of iron and Rebecca believes it must have been put up in Victorian times when the reservoirs were constructed in the area.

Rebecca, 49, is a former teacher who is now looking to retrain in the health care profession, possibly midwifery.

She is married to Ross and they have five children.
