CLOUD does not come much lower than this on the bleak moors between Meltham and Holmfirth.
It was captured by photographer Darren Irving who lives in Meltham shortly before New Year.
“It was great to see some green again after all the snow,’’ he said.
“I took the photograph from Greenfield Road above Holmfirth at about midday looking down the valley towards Digley Reservoir which was totally obscured by the cloud.
“I always have my camera with me and if I see a striking image, I’ll jump out and take it,’’ Darren added.
The 30-year-old property developer is married to Emma and the couple are expecting their first baby in late February.
