It’s one of the world’s most popular toys.
And over the weekend hundreds of Lego-lovers filed into the National Mining Museum near Grange Moor where two world records were being attempted.
The museum hosted the Yorkshire Brick Show – one of the largest annual displays of Lego models in the region – and families could create their own Lego creations.
Visitors also saw the successful world record attempt for the ‘most Lego bricks assembled underground to make a model’ and ‘deepest underground depth for a Lego model to be built’.
Amazing Lego creations were also on show, from model villages and train sets to castles and trucks.
Children and their parents stared wide-eyed at many of the stunning models, which including buildings, trains and castles.
As soon as the record attempts have been assessed we'll let you know whether they've been successful.
