SURESTART workers at Crosland Moor Children’s Centre held an end of summer Pirate Party.
It was aimed at families with children aged up to 11 in the local community and also children who go to Thornton Lodge Day Nursery.
Over 30 families and 74 children enjoyed fun activities and games including a pirate bouncy castle, a treasure hunt, walking the plank and face-painting.
All the staff, parents and children dressed up as pirates.
