A COUNCILLOR has warned that every council building will be reviewed.
Clr David Sheard the council would fit its building portfolio to council services.
It came after resident Malcolm Haigh welcomed news that Batley Library would stay in the same building.
But Clr Sheard warned it may not last, adding: “Over the next few months we’ll have to decide whether to rationalise our estate, we need to provide services to people, not buildings.
“I haven’t seen what the council is going to put forward yet, but I’ve already said this year’s budget is a holding budget. Every area is being discussed.”
