RUGBY clubs and schools across Yorkshire are being urged to answer an SOS appeal by donating unwanted kit to players in poorer countries.
The SOS IRB Kit Aid project has been organised by the International Rugby Board.
It is collecting and distributing unwanted and outgrown kit to junior players across the world.
The appeal has already helped players in seven countries - Romania, Moldova, Georgia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Poland - and three more are likely to be added in 2005.
Since it began in 2001, the project has supplied thousands of kits.
Donations are also welcome from kind clubs and schools who would like to help.
