POLICE are trying to trace relatives of a man badly hurt in a road accident.
Pedestrian Garry Bingham, 46, of Golcar, suffered serious injuries when he was in collision with a VW Golf car on Trinity Street close to its junction with Greenhead Road at 7.25pm on Monday.
But police are struggling to trace his relatives and have urged them to come forward. Mr Bingham suffered serious head and chest injuries along with two broken legs.
He is said to be in a critical condition at Leeds General Infirmary today.
Mr Bingham was born on New Year's Day in 1958.
