‘POETRY Bloke’ Craig Bradley completed his 200-mile coast-to-coast charity walk earlier this month.

And the Dalton-based children’s poet and author raised more than £1,000 for children’s cancer charity Clic Sargent on his walk from Robin Hood’s Bay, near Whitby, to St Bee’s in Cumbria.

Along the way Craig, 47, and his friends Keith Bennett and Andy Amos, stopped off at eight schools to hold fun literature workshops.

Craig plans to walk the 80-mile Hadrian’s Wall route for charity next summer.
