TWO men robbed a group of teenagers walking home in Skelmanthorpe.

The local teenagers, aged 15 and 16, were walking in Cumberworth Road when they were approached from behind.

One of the men threatened them, forcing them to hand over items including wallets and cash, back-packs and an iPhone.

The men then made off, possibly in a Peugeot 106.

Police are appealing for information on the robbery which happened on Friday, February 15, between 8.30pm and 8.50pm.

The robbers were both white, in their late teens or early 20s and between 5ft 10in and 6ft 2in tall and of average build. Both wore dark clothing.
