THREE people were arrested in a series of drug raids in Mirfield and Dewsbury.
Police acting on a tip-off raided a house in Speakers Court, Dewsbury, and found an amount of “skunk” cannabis.
A 24-year old man was arrested and given a caution.
Officers also raided a house in Heckmondwike Road, Dewsbury Moor, to investigate intelligence that cannabis was being grown at the property.
A tented hydroponics set up, containing 14 mature cannabis plants and 5 mid-range cannabis plants, was found in an upstairs bedroom.
In a second bedroom, police found 20 suckling plants while from a third rear bedroom, a quantity of loose skunk cannabis was recovered. A 30-year-old man was arrested is on bail.
Police also mounted a drugs raid at a house on Northway Gardens, Mirfield.
Two women, aged 17 and 24, were arrested from the house on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply after cash and what is believed to be Class A drugs were seized from the house. Both women are currently on bail pending further inquiries.
Sgt Neil Willan, of the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “This latest series of raids and arrests is a clear example of how the community are working with the police and our partners to stamp out drug dealing and its associated anti-social behaviour in the area.
“People do not and should not have to tolerate this or any crime and I am again appealing for people with information that could lead to operations like these, to contact us via by phoning 101.”
